Apartment Owners' Association — Election Simulator

BCR Bye-Law (V2 master) — configurable towers & zones (Clause 6.2A), the role-pair rotation, women's reservation, and an Election-Schedule planner for the ten required steps and binding timing limits (Clause 8.2). Change any input and everything recomputes.

Setup — towers, zones & cycle

15 physical towers sit in 3 permanent Zones; 6 Office Bearers are grouped into 3 Role Pairs. Edit the zone membership, choose the phase and cycle, and set the lottery for cycle 1. 6.2A(a)

Zone composition (editable)

Comma-separated tower names. Default from the bye-law's Zone table. Towers 14 & 15 show struck-through while interim. 6.2A(a)

Election Schedule — the Panel's plan, checked against the binding limits

Clause 8.2 no longer fixes a day-by-day timeline. It lists ten required steps the Panel must include, and leaves the sequence, the time allotted to each, and the calendar dates to the Election Panel, which publishes an Election Schedule at the start of each election. The schedule below is illustrative — anchor it to a chosen OB Voting Day, edit any offset, and the guardrails check it against the few timing limits the bye-law does make binding. 8.2(b) 8.2(c) 8.1.3

Zones & Roles — who contests what this cycle

Zone reservation operates at candidacy only — every owner votes for every position. The Role Pair each Zone holds rotates Zone1→2→3→1 each cycle, completing every 3 cycles. 6.2A(d) 6.2A(g)

Candidacy eligibility checker

Can this person contest? Zone reservation, owner-occupant rule, women's reservation, and the one-consecutive-cycle term limit. 6.2A(e)

Built from the BCR Bye-Law V2 master (BCR-Byelaw-V2.docx; Clauses 6.2A, 6.3, 6.4, 8.1–8.8). Models the rules as drafted; not legal advice. The Schedule tab is an illustrative Panel plan, not a bye-law-mandated timeline — Clause 8.2 leaves the dates to the Election Panel. Schedule Y's exact women-reservation rotation is indicative here — toggle it in the eligibility tab.
